MIKE AND JESS' TRAVEL DIARY

Cruise to Alaska

Days 1-4 - June 26-29 2013

We landed in Seattle and made our way straight to downtown. We started off walking and shopping through the Pike Place Market. We had so much fun wandering through the stalls and shopping for unique gifts.

We had an underground tour scheduled to walk us through the history and tunnels below the sidewalks. This was an interesting tour with a super knowledgeable guide.

In the evening, we took a train to Vancouver and checked in at our hotel.

In the morning, we visited the Vancouver aquarium. The Aquarium is in Stanley Park, which in itself is a great place to visit in Vancouver.

After the Aquarium, we had lunch at Stanley’s Bar and Grill conveniently located within the park.

We wandered the Gas Town district, grabbing shots of the famous steam clocks.

We also made sure to hit the Chinatown district and had some tea tastings where Mike bought his first tea set.

On the 28th, we boarded the cruise ship and were off! The 28th and 29th were at-sea days.
