MIKE AND JESS' TRAVEL DIARY

Ireland Trip

Day 7 - September 22 2018

Our first day in Dingle was slow and easy. Dingle itself was on the touristy side but the rolling green hills with rock fences and sheep galore that surround the peninsula is absolutely stunning and exactly what you would hope from Irish landscape. Mike and I enjoyed our favorite breakfast of the trip at the Hummingbird Cafe. Freshly baked crusty sourdough bread, fresh free range eggs, accompaniments, and great espresso. My mouth is watering writing about it.

We wandered the town, stopping briefly by the Dingle distillery. We did not pre-book a tour, so we took some pictures of the beautiful backdrop and continued on to do some gift shopping.

We later met up with some of the group for dinner at Danno’s Restaurant. The food was fine, again nothing memorable.
