MIKE AND JESS' TRAVEL DIARY

This will be a boring post because it was a boring day. Unfortunately, the run-down-ness we had been feeling was actually a small head cold. Mike’s peaked yesterday and mine did last night. Nothing bad, just some congestion and lack of energy. Since today ended up being a free day anyways, we decided to lay low and rest. The football match is tomorrow, so we want to be at the best we can be for that. It seems it’ll be short-lived since Mike is already feeling much better, so it should not interfere with anything too much.

We got the match package this morning from the hotel- the tickets, a Dortmund team scarf for each of us, two 10 Euro gift cards for the team store, and a food/drink voucher for the stadium. We decided to not do the stadium tour today, another package perk. We would have had to walk to the stadium to do it, due to the strike, so we decided not to. The game is what really matters to us anyways. 

Hopefully we will get a good night’s rest and feel much better tomorrow!
