Cruise to Alaska
Day 8 - July 3 2013
Today is a full day in Ketchikan, Alaska. We had a tour booked to go SNORKELING in the Alaskan waters. How crazy are we?! Thankfully, they provided wetsuits but it was so cold! The water was a bit murky and after snorkeling in Hawai’i, it was a bit underwhelming but still fun to swim through the seaweed forest and follow some fish around.
Once we were dried and dressed, we hit Creek Street back in town for some shopping.
Mike and I also hit a fast food restaurant called Burger Queen and got some fish and chips, which have gone down as the best fish and chips we have had anywhere- including England! We still talk about this meal.
Ketchikan was a cute harbor town, the cutest of the 3. There wasn’t enough to do to warrant a visit back, except maybe for more Burger Queen!
