Belgium Trip
Day 6 - December 7 2017
We had some other day trip options such as Lille and Antwerp, but we enjoyed Ghent so much the day before, we decided to spend one more day in the home-base city. We began our day at Soepbar Sordo, where we sipped soup in the refreshingly quiet restaurant owned and run by a wonderfully patient deaf couple.
We spent the day walking around town again, doing some shopping and more eating at the Christmas Market.
Wanting to bring some local coffee beans back as gifts, we dropped in to Mokabon. It was a bit too late in the day to have a cup, but when we come back we will be sure to have a few in the back lounge.
Craving a large bowl of warm soup from the long day in the cold, we tucked in for dinner at Pho Saigon.
