Philippines Trip
Day 4 - April 11 2017
Mike didn’t have to leave for work until 10PM, so he and his friend offer to show me around the city that I will soon be navigating alone while they work for the week. We got coffee and breakfast and walked around a few of the many malls in the area.
We headed to a couple grocery stores where we stocked up on snacks and souvenirs. We dropped our friend off at his room and he decides to go sleep. Mike and I head back out to wander one of the malls, Market Market. The mall is huge and filled with stores with all price ranges. It was a great way to be surrounded with locals and get some fun shopping in.
We ended the day with Ramen at one of his favorite restaurants nearby. The ramen is the best I had ever had. I could not believe the flavor and depth in the broth and accompanying pork meat.
After the incredibly satisfying lunch, we headed back to the room for Mike to get some shut-eye before his work day began. I napped alongside him and continued in and out of sleep for the remainder of the night.
